Neminovno (R.C.Unavoidably)(novel, 1997, new edition, 2017), Samosvo\u0111enje (Self-Reduction) (poetry, 1999), Prili\u010dno mrtvi (Pretty Dead) (short stories, 2000, the \u201cIvo Andri\u0107\u201d award), Pisac izdaleka (Writer from Afar) (novel, 2003, \u201cNinova nagrada\u201d award), \u010casovi radosti (Moments of Joy) (novel, 2006), Vrlo malo svetlosti (Very Little Light) ( novel, 2010, the \u201cMe\u0161a Selimovi\u0107\u201d, \u201cBorislav Stankovi\u0107\u201d and \u201cIsidora Sekuli\u0107\u201d awards), Memoari, amnezije: eseji, besede, bele\u0161ke (Memoirs, Amnesias: Essays, Words, Notes) (essays, 2012, the \u201cKo\u010di\u0107evo pero\u201d i \u201cKo\u010di\u0107eva knjiga\u201d awards), Pristani\u0161ta (Ports) (short stories, \u201cStevan Sremac\u201d and \u201cDanko Popovi\u0107\u201d awards), Susret pod neobi\u010dnim okolnostima (Meeting Under Unusual Circumstances) (novel, 2016), Sloboda govora (Freedom of Speech) (novel, 2020) and Pokrac (novel, 2023, \u201cBeogradski pobednik\u201d award).<br \/>\nHe was given an award \u201cRamonda Serbika\u201d for his overall literary canon and the significant contribution to literature and culture in 2019. Furthermore, he has received \u201cZlatni krst kneza Lazara\u201d award again for his overall literary canon. The play Sloboda govora (Freedom of Speech), written on the basis of Matijevi\u0107\u2019s novel of the same name, had its premiere at the \u010ca\u010dak City Theatre in 2023.
