The broad extent of his knowledge and the willingness to be at the center of and informed about the current happenings at the end of the 18th<\/sup> century is fascinating. His attitudes and original thoughts whose maturity greatly surpasses his time are to be admired. He is a man that stood out from his surroundings in many respects but was at the same time highly devoted to it. Ognjenovi\u0107 also adds that what the story of the multitalented person like Antun Kojovi\u0107 teaches us is that the man of today\u2019s society although being an inventor becomes more and more of a slave to his inventions, and less and less of a humanist.
