But that is not all we offer to our audience. Our guests are used to have at their artistic disposal the entire Municipality of Budva. For specific plays, trying to fulfill director\u2019s artistic vision, we like to activate other venues. Beaches, convent complexes, old fortifications around Budva and authentic natural rural environment are venues we are proud to have worked on and continue to explore.<br \/>\n\u201cTheatre City\u201d was conceived as a intersection of contemporary achievements first of all theatrical, and then art, musical and literary creations, and by its program quality still confirms its prestige not just as a host to many troops and creators, but also with a quality of its production activities with which it questions authentic cultural heritage of Budva and Montenegro, and ability to implement those questions into modern models of artistic practices. The most famous plays from the production workshop of \u201cTheatre City\u201d (77 so far), done independently or in cooperation with renowned theatres from country and region, such as \u201cKanjo\u0161 Macedonovi\u0107\u201d, \u201cFalse Czar \u0160\u0107epan the Small\u201d, \u201cWaiting for Godot\u201d, \u201cKarolina Nojber\u201d, \u201cBanovi\u0107 Strahinja\u201d, \u201cMidsummer Night\u2019s Dream\u201d, \u201cThe Path of Jegor\u201d, \u201cKonte Zanovi\u0107\u201d, \u201cMontenegrins\u201d, \u201cThe Tempest\u201d, \u201cHamlet\u201d, \u201cCaligula\u201d, \u201cSko\u010di\u0111evojka\u201d, \u201cDon Krsto\u201d, \u201cLa Dispute\u201d, \u201cOthello\u201d, \u201cThe Cherry Orchard\u201d, \u201cZorba the Greek\u201d, \u201cThe Divine Comedy\u201d, \u201cThe Chioggia Scuffles\u201d, \u201dCaesar\u201d, \u201cGhosts\u201d, \u201cRed\u201d, \u201cAutumn Sonata\u201d etc, are with its innovative approach already recognized as plays that changed tendencies in theatre life in the region. Careful selection of visiting programs, based on choosing the best projects of the classical theatre, but also of the theatres that turned to new tendencies, is what makes this festival recognizable not just to the audience but also to the professionals in the branch. Many guest from abroad, and not just the region, are also present on this festival , just to name few; Australian \u201cStrange Fruit\u201d, German \u201cTitanik\u201d, \u201cVolcano theatre\u201d, \u201cAtis teatar\u201d, Moscow theatre \u201cRuben Simonov\u201d, Theatre Roma \u201cParlipe\u201d, troop from Israel \u201cVertigo\u201d, Theater an der Ruhr\u2026<br \/>\nMusic, arts and literary program are also integral parts of \u201cTheatre City\u201d. In \u201cSanta Maria in Punta\u201d, main exhibition space, works of many artist from the region have been presented, among them are Voja Stani\u0107, Milo\u0161 \u0160obaji\u0107, Slobodan Slovini\u0107, Milorad Bato Mihailovi\u0107, Du\u0161an Ota\u0161evi\u0107, Milan Cile Marinkovi\u0107, Stevan Luketi\u0107, Jovan Ivanovi\u0107, Mustafa Skopljak, Branko Milju\u0161a, Nikola Gvozdenovi\u0107-Gvozdo, Cvetko Lainovi\u0107, Pavle Pejovi\u0107, Mile Skra\u010di\u0107, Izet Ale\u010dkovi\u0107, Jelena Papovi\u0107, Mizokami Kazamusa, Angel Korunovski, Zlatko Glamo\u010dak and many others. As Festival is also pursuing modern forms of art, some of these events were marked by performers selected by Marina Abramovi\u0107, performing of Oleg Kulik, Luka Lagator, \u201cMontenegrin Beauty\u201d installations from by now affirmed modern Montenegrin artist such as Irena Lagator, Jelena Toma\u0161evi\u0107, Roman \u0110urovi\u0107, Suzana Pajovi\u0107 \u017divkovi\u0107.<br \/>\nMusic program was formed as a great festival within \u201cTheatre City\u201d. Imagined as a place of presenting new structures, poetics, methods and publishing enterprises, \u201cPoet\u2019s Square\u201d gets its conclusive meaning by establishing a dialogue between the creator and interpreter with the audience, whether that be by reading text or by live dialogue. \u201cPoet\u2019s Square\u201d is a proof that literary and social questions are made alive and timeless just through exchanging information. During the Festival many conversations with currant artist are organized, as well as round tables and scientific assemblies with subjects regarding questioning contemporary cultural-artistic creations and business models in culture sector today. \u201cTheatre City\u201d is also in publishing business.<br \/>\nSince 1994. \u201cTheatre City\u201d has established an award for drama creations by the name of \u201cTheatre City\u201d, and an award for literary creations named \u201cStefan Mitrov Ljubi\u0161a\u201d.<br \/>\nList of winner of the award \u201cTheatre City\u201d: 1994.
