He is the author of collections of poems: \u201cMiddle Name\u201d, \u201cVoluptuous Horse\u201d, \u201cLeaves on Water\u201d, \u201cPoems from Sickness and Health\u201d, \u201c\u0422he Walls\u201d, and \u201cBangladesh\u201d. He also wrote short story collections \u2013 \u201cDescendants of the Rejected Suitors\u201d, \u201cCapillary Actions\u201d, and \u201cA Strange Book\u201d, as well as two plays, \u201cIn Vivo\u201d (\u201cWithin the Living\u201d) and \u201cKemet\u201d, the novels \u201cEpic of Water\u201d, \u201cWhen You Gaze Long into an Abyss\u201d and \u201cPeople Without Graves\u201d. He has recorded 172 folk riddles, which he published with Elma Halilovi\u0107 in the co-authored book &#8220;Riddles&#8221;. He has founded the literary magazine &#8220;Sent&#8221; and the literary web magazine &#8220;Eckermann&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>His prose and poetry have been translated into over twenty languages. His stories, poetry and plays have been published in separate books in English, Polish, French, Macedonian, Turkish, Albanian and Bulgarian, and prose and poetry have been translated into English, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Turkish, French, Polish, Romanian, Ukrainian, Hungarian, Slovenian, Latvian, Albanian, Macedonian, Greek, Bulgarian, Catalan, Romani, Danish, Portuguese, Italian, Belarusian, Armenian and Latin.<\/p>\n<p>He is the winner of the \u201cGolden Badge\u201d of the Serbian Culture and Education Society for his contribution to the culture, as well as the literary awards &#8220;Me\u0161a Selimovi\u0107&#8221;, &#8220;Branko Miljkovi\u0107&#8221;, &#8220;\u0110ura Jak\u0161i\u0107&#8221;, &#8220;Ahmed Vali&#8221;, &#8220;Stevan Sremac&#8221;, &#8220;Golden Letter&#8221; and &#8220;Golden Sunflower&#8221;.
