{"id":67639,"date":"2023-07-13T08:04:50","date_gmt":"2023-07-13T06:04:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gradteatar.me\/?p=67639"},"modified":"2024-02-27T21:33:00","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T20:33:00","slug":"brawling-in-chioggia-honored-with-great-applause-at-the-theatre-city-drama-program-opening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gradteatar.me\/en\/brawling-in-chioggia-honored-with-great-applause-at-the-theatre-city-drama-program-opening\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cBrawling in Chioggia\u201d honored with great applause at the \u201cTheatre City\u201d Drama Program opening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, on the stage between the Churches in Budva&#8217;s Old Town, the drama program of the 37<sup>th<\/sup>\u201cTheatre City\u201d festival began with the performance of \u201cBrawling in Chioggia\u201d by Carlo Goldoni, directed by Ana Tomovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>The play is a production of the National Theater in Belgrade, where has been a premiere at the beginning of this month on the &#8220;Ra\u0161a Plaovi\u0107&#8221; stage.<\/p>\n<p>After the performance in Budva, the director Ana Tomovi\u0107 said that she was especially glad that<br \/>\nthe set design blended well with the environment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The impressions are great, I think we hit the atmosphere of this space between the churches and that contributed a lot to the whole play.\u00a0The actors tried to get into the game, and the audience could hear everything, because it was an open environment.\u00a0It seems to me that everything reached the audience, I saw that they did react very nicely and that the reactions are really good&#8230;&#8221; said Tomovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>Had\u017ei Nenad Mari\u010di\u0107, the actor, won all the sympathy of the audience during the performance of the play.He revealed that even in the course of first rehearsals, they concluded not much argument was needed for such a play.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJust like one shouldn&#8217;t argue about the meaning and beauty of a rose, simply, one should enjoy its fragrance.\u00a0The audience also enjoys this play and only after some time realizes the deep messages of what Goldoni wanted to say with this act&#8221;, Mari\u010di\u0107 pointed out and recalled that many years ago he played in the play \u201cBrawlingin Chioggia\u201dat the festival \u201cTheatre City\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Set design is done by Andreja Rondovi\u0107, costume design by Marija Markovi\u0107 Milojev, music<br \/>\nIrena Popovi\u0107 Dragovi\u0107, and stage speech by Ljiljana Mrki\u0107 Popovi\u0107.\u00a0The play features Branislav Toma\u0161evi\u0107 (Paron Toni), Ivana \u0160\u0107epanovi\u0107 (\u0160jora Pa\u0161kva), Tamara \u0160usti\u0107 (Lucijeta), Vu\u010di\u0107 Perovi\u0107 (Bepo), Jovan Jovanovi\u0107 (Ivanko), Had\u017ei Nenad Mari\u010di\u0107 (Paron Furte), Zlatija Ivanovi\u0107 (\u0160jora Libera),Iva Milanovi\u0107 (Ur\u0161ula), Teodora Dragi\u0107evi\u0107 (Keka), Dragan Sekuli\u0107 (Kri\u0161te) and Nedim Nezirovi\u0107 (I\u017ee).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Theatre City&#8221; Press\u2013service<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, on the stage between the Churches in Budva&#8217;s Old Town, the drama program of the 37th\u201cTheatre City\u201d festival began with the performance of \u201cBrawling in Chioggia\u201d by Carlo Goldoni, directed by Ana Tomovi\u0107.
