{"id":68842,"date":"2023-08-12T11:32:54","date_gmt":"2023-08-12T09:32:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gradteatar.me\/?p=68842"},"modified":"2024-02-27T21:30:36","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T20:30:36","slug":"fugitives-on-the-stage-between-churches-immense-gratitude-to-the-theatre-city-for-its-support-from-the-very-beginning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gradteatar.me\/en\/fugitives-on-the-stage-between-churches-immense-gratitude-to-the-theatre-city-for-its-support-from-the-very-beginning\/","title":{"rendered":"Fugitives on the stage between churches: Immense gratitude to the  Theatre City for its support from the very beginning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Body\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\">Last night, the drama program of the 37thTheatre City festival continued with the dance and theater piece &#8220;Bjeguni&#8221;( Fugitives ), directed and choreographed by Sta\u0161a Zurovac on the stage Between the Churches.\u00a0The performance is a co-production of the Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance and the 40<sup>th<\/sup> Festival of Contemporary Dance, where it premiered in June this year, and was based on the novel of the same name by Nobel laureate Olga Tokar\u010duk.\u00a0PI \u201cTheatre City\u201d has been a proud partner in this project since the very beginning, which was confirmed by Zurovac after the performance in Budva.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; text-indent: .5in; line-height: 150%;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 150%; font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif';\"><br \/>\nThe novel itself was written as a constellation novel, its author Olga Tokar\u010duk said, and this is what Zurovac was guided by while preparing this play.
