It is a dark comedy that was first performed on the thirtieth of December nineteen seventy-three in Belgrade. It is a culturally significant piece of writing which left a prominent mark when it first premiered. Since it has been fifty years from the original premiere of the play, a notably\u00a0 different adaptation of the original text by Du\u0161an Kova\u010devi\u0107, co-produced by the \u201cTheatre City\u2019\u2019 Budva and the \u00a0National Theatre of Sombor was first\u00a0 performed at the XXXVII festival edition in Budva. Now, it is a huge honor for the afore-mentioned co-production to be a part of the fiftieth jubilee festival \u201cDani Komedije\u201d (\u201cThe Days of Comedy\u2019\u2019) taking place in Jagodina from the twentieth to twenty-seventh of March. That it is one of the seven regional plays selected by Aleksandar Milosavljevi\u0107 to be included in the festival as a part of the competition program speaks of its success and authentic spirit.<\/p>\n<p>The text of the play is dramatized by Vesna Radovanovi\u0107 and the play directed by Vito Taufer.<\/p>\n<p>The other members of the creative team are: Biljana Grgur, costume designer, Lazar Bodre\u0161a, scenography, Robert Pe\u0161ut Manjifiko and Aleksandar Pe\u0161ut Shatz, the original music (songs) for the play.<\/p>\n<p>Cast:\u00a0 Ninoslav \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107, Biljana Keskenovi\u0107, Marija Ma\u0161a Labudovi\u0107, Danica Gruba\u010dki, Sr\u0111an Aleksi\u0107, Nemanja Bak, Pavle Popovi\u0107.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>The \u201cTheatre City\u2019\u2019 press-office<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Radovan III (Radovan the Third) is a play written by Du\u0161an Kova\u010devi\u0107.
