The workshops as a part of the project \u201dSexual Theatre\u201d have gotten \u00a0underway in the Bosnian National Theatre. It all happened on Friday, the eighth of March. The events were co-financed by the \u201cCreative Europe Programme\u201d in which the \u201cTheatre City\u201d is one of the project partners.<\/p>\n
Aleksandra Maslovar, representing the JU \u201dTheatre City\u201d during this project, has also been a part of \u00a0the aforesaid\u00a0 workshops. The other participants present were:the playwright Stela Mi\u0161kovi\u0107, Minja Novakovi\u0107, a young director from Montenegro, and Jasmina Bigovi\u0107, a member of the Budva Youth Club.<\/p>\n
Sumea Mujkanovi\u0107, the mayor\u2019s assistant for social protection, housing affairs and social activities, has also been present at the official opening of the project. As Mujkanovi\u0107 stated it was a pleasure for Zenica and its National Theatre to host such diversity of artists. Furthermore, as was pointed out \u00a0by Mujkanovi\u0107 \u00a0it was \u00a0a great \u00a0honor that, amongst all\u00a0 others, the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica \u00a0should be \u00a0the \u00a0starting point of this huge project that gathered together in one place the artists from all over the world. As Mujkanovi\u0107 asserted there is not a shadow of a doubt that the artists from Montenegro, France and Portugal will be pleased by what they will witness and consequently achieve in collaboration with the artists from Zenica in this representative theatre institution.<\/p>\n
The implementation of the project started in January, 2024 and will last until December, 2025. Along with the \u201cTheatre City\u201d, the project partners are: the Teatro \u201cCirco de Braga\u201d from Portugal, the University Paul-Valery Montpellier located in France and the Bosnian National Theatre (Zenica). The primary goal of the project is the betterment of the theatre topics and narratives through the feminist approach towards the interpretation of the national literature classics.<\/p>\n
The project encompasses sixteen activities which will be realized. However, the final result of all these strivings will take the form of: the four new theatre festivals and dramatic texts with the addition of the four new plays. It is planned for the plays to run in all four project partnership countries and that as the constituent parts of the four festivals. In the end, the book comprising together all the goals and results of the project is to be published.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
