The guest will be a writer and essayist <strong>Petar Matovi\u0107<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Petar Matovi\u0107 was born in U\u017eice (Serbia) in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade- Department of Serbian with South Slavic Literatures. His literary canon includes poetry and essays while his poetry collections bear the following names: <strong><em>Chamber Pieces<\/em><\/strong> (1996), <strong><em>Where Do Beavers Come From<\/em><\/strong> (2013), <strong><em>From the Happy Republic<\/em><\/strong> (2017), <strong><em>Not Bread, but Morphine-Selected Poems<\/em><\/strong> (2019).<\/p>\n<p>His became a part of \u00a0all of the following magazines, periodicals and journals: \u201cPolja\u201d (the Serbian literary magazine), \u201cLetopis Matice Srpske\u201d (a Serbian literary periodical), \u201cKoraci\u201d (a magazine for literature, art and culture), \u201cBeogradski knji\u017eevni \u010dasopis\u201d (a journal for poetic research and activity), \u201cSarajevske sveske\u201d (literary magazine), \u201cZarez\u201d (a Croatian biweekly magazine for literature, culture and current affairs), \u201cKnji\u017eevni magazin\u201d (a Serbian periodical), Quorum (a Croatian periodical for literature), \u201cFragile\u201d, \u201cPortret\u201d, \u201cThe Caf\u00e9 Review\u201d, \u201cFantom slobode\u201d (a Croatian literary magazine).<\/p>\n<p>His works are present in manifold anthologies while his songs were translated into many foreign languages. For his poetry he has received the \u201cTre\u0107i trg\u201d award.
