This year’s co-productions of the\u00a0 “Theatre City” \u2013\u00a0 the plays “Archpriest Kojovi\u0107” and “A World of Possibilities” continue their theatrical life in the country and the region.<\/p>\n
The play “Archpriest Kojovi\u0107”, written and directed by Vida Ognjenovi\u0107, will be performed\u00a0 on October 22 at the \u201cPark Hall\u201d, as part of the “Herceg Fest” . This play, which is a co-production of the “Theatre City” and the City Theatre in Podgorica, tells about the life and work of a chronicler and canon from Budva \u2013 Antun Kojovi\u0107. The performance of this play opened the 38th “Theatre City” festival.<\/p>\n
On the same day, the play”A World of Possibilities” \u2013\u00a0 created as a joint project of the Public Institution “Theatre City”, the East West Centre in Sarajevo, the Serbian National Theatre and the Tala Dance Centre in Zagreb, by the author and director Haris Pa\u0161ovi\u0107 , continues to be performed on the stage of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad .<\/p>\n
The Radio Television of Vojvodina declared this play the best play overall at the 73rd<\/sup> Festival of Professional Theatres of Vojvodina, which was held in Subotica. The jury, consisted of Dr Zoran Maksimovi\u0107, a theater expert, Molina Udovicki-Fotez, a playwright, and Tatjana Nje\u017ei\u0107, a journalist and publicist, at the final session held on October 3, made the decision to award the best male role award to Aljo\u0161a \u0110idi\u0107, for the role of Boris in the play “A World of Possibilities”, and the best male episodic role to Milan Kova\u010devi\u0107, for the role of Boris’s father in the same play .<\/p>\n The play has been performed in several countries so far, it premiered in Budva on July 14 this year as part of the 38th<\/sup> “Theatre City” festival.
