{"id":73551,"date":"2024-11-05T11:32:37","date_gmt":"2024-11-05T10:32:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gradteatar.me\/predstave-protekcija-i-svijet-mogucnosti-u-konkurenciji-za-nagrade-na-festivalima-u-uzicu-i-niksicu\/"},"modified":"2024-12-02T08:07:42","modified_gmt":"2024-12-02T07:07:42","slug":"predstave-protekcija-i-svijet-mogucnosti-u-konkurenciji-za-nagrade-na-festivalima-u-uzicu-i-niksicu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gradteatar.me\/en\/predstave-protekcija-i-svijet-mogucnosti-u-konkurenciji-za-nagrade-na-festivalima-u-uzicu-i-niksicu\/","title":{"rendered":"FAVORITISM AND A WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES IN AWARDS COMPETITION AT  FESTIVALS IN U\u017dICE AND NIK\u0160I\u0106"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s co-productions of the <em>Theatre City<\/em> \u2013 the plays <em>Favoritism<\/em> and <em>A World of Possibilities<\/em>, continue to live their theatrical life in the country and the region.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the 29<sup>th <\/sup>Yugoslav Theatre Festival <em>No Translation<\/em>, the play <em>Favoritism<\/em> \u00a0\u2013 based on the text by Branisalav Nu\u0161i\u0107 and directed by Milan Ne\u0161kovi\u0107, will be performed in U\u017eice on November 6. The play is a co-production of the <em>Theatre City<\/em> and the <em>National Theatre in Sombor<\/em>. This play first premiered in Budva on August 3, as part of the 38<sup>th<\/sup> \u00a0<em>Theatre City Festival<\/em>, and after that in Sombor on September 26. In addition to this play\u2019s premieres and its reruns by the co-producers,\u00a0 it was also performed at the <em>National Theatre in Belgrade<\/em> on the occasion of the 160<sup>th<\/sup> birth anniversary of Branislav Nu\u0161i\u0107 at the event called <em>Celebrating Nu\u0161i\u0107<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the 20<sup>th<\/sup> <em>International Festival of Actor<\/em> in the Nik\u0161i\u0107 Theatre, the performance of the play <em>A World of Possibilities<\/em>, by the author and director Haris Pa\u0161ovi\u0107 , was\u00a0 continued on the same day. The play was created as a joint project of the Public Institution <em>Theatre City Budva<\/em>, \u00a0the <em>East West Centre<\/em> in Sarajevo, the <em>Serbian National Theatre<\/em> and the <em>Tala dance centre<\/em> in Zagreb.<\/p>\n<p>The play has been performed in several countries so far, and it premiered in Budva on July 14 of this year as part of the 38<sup>th<\/sup> <em>Theatre City Festival<\/em>. We would like to remind you that this project was co-financed by the European Union, through the Creative Europe program for theatre projects which deal with the subject of the lives of children and youth with developmental disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>The Radio Television of Vojvodina declared this \u00a0play the best play as a whole at the 73<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Festival of Professional Theatres of Vojvodina, which took place in Subotica. The jury decided to award the best male role award to Aljo\u0161a \u0110idi\u0107, for the role of Boris, and the best male episodic role award to Milan Kova\u010devi\u0107, for the role of Boris&#8217;s father in the same play.<\/p>\n<p>Both plays will be performed as plays for competition at the two festivals mentioned above.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Theater City &#8221; press office<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s co-productions of the Theatre City \u2013 the plays Favoritism and A World of Possibilities, continue to live their theatrical life in the country and the region.
