The coordinators and project managers have definitely established the project’s agenda during the seven-day workshops held in the Bosnian National Theatre (Zenica). Additionally, further activities for implementing the project that deals with such an important social topic were set up.
It has been decided that the director Minja Novaković would join efforts with the playwright Nedžma Čizmo from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their task will involve interpreting in a new way the French classical literature. The playwright Stela Mišković and Lajla Kikčija from Bosnia and Herzegovina will do the same with the Portuguese classical literature. All this is to take place within the residences that will be put into effect in May this year. When talking about Bosnia and Herzegovina, the close collaboration will involve the playwright Aicha Euzet from France and the Portuguese director Julio Cerdeira.
The Montenegrin works of classical literature will be seen from another angle by the playwright Catia Faisco from Portugal’s magic. She will stay in Montenegro while the residences are in effect during 2024. and 2025. together with a director from France.
What is achieved by all the things mentioned is the international artist exchange and the artistic work swap. All this will result in the new theatre works which in turn will be presented to the public in a form of a not so extensive but important festivals forms in all of the four project partnership countries.
