On Friday, July 16, on the stage Between the Churches, starting at 9 PM, as part of the off-programme of the festival, the play “Visa” will be performed. The play is produced by the Budva Acting School, based on the text by Vida Ognjenović, directed by Jovana Todorović and assistant Monja Vuksanović.
The Budva Acting School is run by actress Jovana Todorović, master of Drama and Audio-Visual Arts.
The complete programme of the school includes acting, dancing, stage movement and dance, a culture of speech and writing, concentration exercises, as well as playing inside selected characters of plays by national and foreign writers.
The play cast includes 8th and 9th grade students from Budva elementary schools. It is planned for each group to have a public performance in the form of a theatrical performance, within the off-programme of the festival. Thus, the Theatre City encourages and supports the nurturing of theatre culture among school-age children, with the hope that they will continue to follow theatre programmes in the future, either as an audience or as independent creators.
