Once upon a time, there was a Queen who wished for a child as white as snow, lips as red as blood and hair as black as night. Her wish was granted, and Snow White was born. Unfortunately, shortly thereafter the Queen fell ill and died, and the King married a second wife, proud and haughty. The new Queen had an enchanted mirror, to which she would pose the same question every day-“Am I the most beautiful woman in the world?”. The mirror would always reply that she is. Yet, one day, the mirror answered that the Snow White was the most beautiful. The queen was terribly jealous that she was no longer the most beautiful in the kingdom, so she summoned the royal huntsman to kill Snow White. The huntsman, however, took pity on Snow White and spared her, telling her about the evil Queen’s plan. Snow White fled deep into the forest, in order for the Queen not to find her. Running through the woods, Snow White stumbled upon a house. As the night was starting to descend, Snow White grew tired and decided to hide inside. In the house, everything was small: table, chairs, utensils. One could see that everything was set up for dinner. She ate and fell asleep, overcome with fatigue.
When Snow White woke up, she was encountered with the residents of this house-seven dwarfs. The Dwarfs soon befriended Snow White and welcomed her into their group. The wicked Queen, however, learned from the mirror that Snow White was still alive. Therefore, she disguised herself as an old elderly woman selling apples. The apple intended for Snow White was enchanted so as to be poisonous. The queen waited for the dwarfs to go about their way and came to the house in the woods. Snow White didn’t recognize the Queen and so she ate her poisoned apple. She fell to the ground in an instant, as if dead. The Queen fled, rejoicing. When the dwarfs came and found her, they fell into despair.
Then a prince, who instantly fell in love with Snow White and kissed her, came along. Snow White being magically revived by the kiss, a huge celebration ensued, which ended in Snow White and prince immediately arranging a wedding.
The day of the wedding, attended by the evil Queen, came. Surprised to see Snow White, the Queen let the cat out of the bag and disclosed that she was the one to be blamed for the poisoning. Confronted with her crimes, the Queen repented and apologized, so everyone lived happily ever after.
