The play “Enabled Theatre”, written and directed by Haris Pašović, was performed on Saturday,11th March, on the Main Stage of The Sarajevo National Theatre.
Among the others ,the representatives of the following institutions were also there at the premiere in Sarajevo: The “Pazarić” Institution for Social Caretaking, Health Care, Education and Upbringing, The “Mjedenica” Institute for Special Education and Upbringing of Children, The “Vladimir Nazor” Centre for Upbringing, Education and Rehabilitation. In addition, the representatives and Members of the Associations that tend to the needs of the persons with disabilities such as: The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Association of the Persons with Cerebral Palsy, The “Oaza” Association for the Support of the Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, The “Dajte nam šansu” Association of the Children and Persons with Developmental Disabilities’ Families, The ”Menssana” Association for the Support of the Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and the Disabled Persons as well as the others were also present.
After the performance, there was a standing ovation for the play’s ensemble consisting of: Gordana Ðurđević Dimić, Lidija Stevanović, Sanja Ristić Krajnov, Jelena Antonijević, Mina Pavlica, Marija Feldeši, Milan Kovačević, Marko Savković,Vukašin Ranđelović, Aljoša Ðidić, Aleksandar Sarapa i Rade Petrović. They were met on the stage by the director Haris Pašović, composer Dino Šukalo and Matija Molčanov with the accompanying piano music.
Along with Haris Pašović, the artistic and authorial team of the play includes: Ivana Jančić (scenographer), Dino Šukalo (composer), Larisa Lipovac (choreographer) and Minja Davidović (costume designer’s assistant).
After the performance in Novi Sad and Sarajevo, one will be able to see the play in other project partnership cities , Zagreb and Budva.
The play “Enabled Theatre” is the co-production of : The “Theatre City” Budva , The Sarajevo “East-West” Centre, The Serbian National Theatre ,Novi Sad, The Dance Academy ”Tala”, Zagreb. It is co-financed by the European Union through the “Creative Europe” Programme.
