“Gidion’s knot stands for a  situation in which adults take on a task of  untangling  something that is incredibly hard to explain. To be exact, in this case everything revolves around the silence of a child. As I read the play for the first time, I came to a realization that the world in general is on the brink of exploding, or otherwise  vanishing like a feather. It only takes one conversation, one child, and just a word too many to tip the scale into the irreversible. Whilst working on this particular piece, we all turned to silence for the most part of our time together. Hence, that silence metamorphosed  into the by far sincerest part of this entire  process. It finally struck me that the play wasn’t just about a child who is gone, but about all of us struggling to retain what is human in us, when all we know is put to test. This is certainly not a play to offer one answers. On the contrary, what it asks of us is to reside at  the same table, trying  to endure that moment which bears the weight of the entire lifetime. It would, in fact, be one of those moments in which it is extremely difficult to say for certain who owes the truth to whom.”
