The play “Radovan the Third”, written by Dušan Kovačević and directed by Vito Taufer, realized as a co-production of the Public Institution “Theatre City” Budva and the National Theatre in Sombor, which had its premiere during the 37th Theatre City festival, was awarded two prizes at the 31st International Festival of Classics “Vršac Theatre Autumn”. The jury, chaired by Gordana Đurđević Dimić, whose members were also Jelena Janković and Vladimir Đuričić, decided to award the best acting performance for a female role Award to Biljana Keskenović for the role of Rumenka in the aforementioned play, and the Special Award for costume design to Biljana Grgur.
Two performances, which the “Theatre City” audience had the opportunity to see during the previous two “Theatre City” festivals , were also awarded at the festival; the play “Michael Kolhas”, produced by the Yugoslav Drama Theatre, directed by Boris Liješević and “The Hilarious Tragedy”, produced by the National Theatre in Belgrade and the National Theatre in Banja Luka, directed by Jagoš Marković.
